Abstract

Technical development over years left a lot of electronic waste (mobile phones, computers, laptops, etc.), which has become one of the biggest problems faced by Oman as well as other countries in world. The research aims to analyze the impact of the accumulation or disposal of electronic waste in unsafe ways on humans and the environment around them. Also analyze what are the reason behind rapid increase in amount of this type of waste. The study also proposes to find safe alternative solutions to manage and get rid of e-wastes with minimal effects by recycling it and allocating a place to collect and buy electronic wastes at affordable cost from people and then, sell it to specialized factories to manage and recycle e-waste outside the country.
