Multidimensional Impact of Tourism on Socio-Economic Development: A study with special reference to North AL Batinah

Abstract

Tourism is the most important destination in the economic development of every country in the world. Oman has been recently suffering from decreasing of economical side which resulted the decreasing in the living for families in the society

Al-Batinah region has more opportunity for tourism attraction due to its varied landscape including Beaches, Parks, Rich Heritage, Traditional monuments, Mountains and associated wadis. Yet most of these places remain unattractive due to lack of attention from the department of tourism in view of developing these sites.

This research studies the most important main components found in North Al Batinah that can help the growth of the field of tourism. This study also proposes an innovative to attract the visitors by using "application" that can help them to booking some small rooms in the houses near these tourist places this with help the visitors to pay low rent and will help the owner of the house for taking new source of income, and the application will be also provided with pictures for this tourist places.

The economic can be increased through development the tourism, which will provide the country different types of trading deal, then will increase the trade movement, which will raise the country's economy as a whole and living level for people.
